Overview: As a minority ethnic group of people live in the northern Mongolia, originally they were moved from Russian tribe called TuBa since 1923, but nowadays, its been changed and more than most of them spoken Mongolian language and has shown a steady increase in population since late of 20th century. They proudly live in their life-styles and being a tale of Reindeer breeder and live in through Range of Siberian taiga where most areas elevated 2500m above sea level. Well-known name for this ease-type house is Teebee/Yurts/ and is their home for all time, it has not changed yet, it is more likely the American Indians home some time ago. Interestingly, a major population in ethnic group believes in Shamanism. In the West Taiga, there are now roughly 14 families inhabit individually whereas a half of families live in the eastern sides, particularly, mostly they live at same area with other families in the east taiga.
On the way, there is beautiful scenery of Range of Mountains and is Valley for Another ethnic group of Mongolians called Darkhad valley, here are Many Shaman shown. Wilderness in this area is so vast and you will see nomads in scarce and all livestock scattered in wild habitat. It would be a perfect spot for taking photography.

Day 1. Fly to Moron (capital town of Khovsgol province) (1.30 hour). Sightseeing tour included Accommodation: hostel/hotel
Day 2. Drive to Tsagaan nuur, the closest small town to tsaatan herder (12 hours drive on bumpy road). Stay at hostel
Day 3. Jump on the Horse trekking or Reindeer to genuine nomad Reindeer to Taiga (5-6 hours). Stay at Teepee
Day 4. A full day off at Reindeer people, Will enjoy and explore the life-style, (milking reindeer, taking photograph, hiking around beautiful nature in Taiga)
Day 5. Head back to small town and stay overnight at hostel. Horse trekking
Day 6. Drive to Khovsgol lake which is most freshest lake in Asia. Stay at Tourist camp along the shore of lake, hot shower, enjoying sunset at lake. Boat trip to Island at lake, kayak and bike trip is available.
Day 7: Back to Moron town and check in at airport, will Fly to UB. Arrive in Ub and we will transfer you to your hotel.
Detailed itinerary:
Day 1. Flight to Murun
We will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to airport. Then you will fly to Murun town in North Mongolia. After landed in the town, our guide and driver will pick you up. Then, we will drive Uushig Deer Stone site. The site is largest deer stone site in the World and it is dates back over 3000 year. Back to Town. (L, D)
Day 2. Drive to Tsagaan nuur
Drive to Tsagaan nuur Village which could be a longest day van tour in your life on the bumpy road. Hopefully, If you are trying it first time, you will enjoy it. Today we will enter to the Darkhad Depression. Darkhad Depression is a wide plain surrounded by 2000-3000 m high mountains roughly the same size as Khuvsgul Lake basin. This majestic and beautiful place with countless rivers and containing over 300 small lakes. It is home of fishes. The area is center of shamanism. Overnight in the local family guesthouse. (B, L, D)
Day 3. Reindeer to Taiga
Early the next morning we will start our journey. Load the luggage on the pack horses. All camping gears and food stuffs, baggage will be carried by horses. Then start the ride. Today we will ride over 50 km ride and the ride itself is over some difficult mountainous areas but the scenery is spectacular. We have to cross Khoridol Saridag Mountain Range by narrow mountain pass and should reach in right its side. This mountain range, Khoridol Saridag, is located between 2 great depressions, Khuvsgul Lake basin and Darkhad Meadow. Highest peak is 3093 m and about 130 km long. We might see wild animals. Day 4. Hiking around beautiful nature in Taiga
Horse riding through the forest in the northern mountains searching for the reindeer people summer place, it might be necessary to ride for some hours to arrive the reindeer people – depends on their exact location. Finally we will reach to Duka people home. With the Reindeer people, learn and participate their everyday life like riding reindeers, milking reindeers, processing skins and meats. You will enjoy the relaxing, beautiful and silent nature. There is endless photography opportunity. Overnight in tent. (B, L, D)
Day 5. Head back to small town
Say goodbye to the reindeer people, Set off on horseback again, this time on a linear route back to the Tsagaannuur village. (B, L, D)
Day 6. To the Khovsgol lake
Then, we will drive north in the direction of Khuvsgul Lake (130 km). Lake Khuvsgul is the second deepest fresh water lake in Central Asia. It is a huge 2750 square km alpine lake (130km in length and 30 km in width) surrounded by mountain chains of more than 2000 m high, thick pine and larch forests and lush meadows with grazing yaks and horses. Hundreds small rivers and streams feed the lake with crystal clear water. Water exist the lake through only one river, the Eg, whose waters eventually reach the Baikal Lake. The lake contains about 2% of the worlds fresh water. Tourists call it the Switzerland of Mongolia. Todays dinner will be Khuushuur which is flat, fried and traditional Mongolian dish. In the evening, we will meet the local horsemen who will
accompany us on the whole horse trek and sturdy pony horses of Mongolia. Check the saddles and everything. Overnight in Ger camp at lake. (B, L, D)
Day 7. Back to Murun
Boat trip and kayak will be available and will have trip by motorboat to Khusliin khad cliffs/island. (B, L, D)
Day 8. Departure
